Emergency Preparedness and Response
In the modern world, the specter of catastrophe is a constant companion. In many nations and regions, crime and conflict pose a persistent threat. Terrorism can strike anywhere. Natural disasters can destroy industrial plants, and even wipe entire cities off the map. Yet despite all perils, global commerce must continue. The keys to managing risk are twofold – solid planning and rapid response.
IPG provides the following series of risk management services:
Threat Analysis
Whether you are operating in an obviously hostile environment like Iraq or the Congo, or in a seemingly benign environment right here in the U.S., there are risks and threats which must be thoroughly understood in order to be planned for and defended against. The IPG Threat Analysis Team will develop a comprehensive analysis of the risk environment as a starting point from which to develop an overall security and disaster preparedness plan.
Site Hardening
The first line of defense is to harden the physical plant to better withstand all potential threats. From barriers and berms, to redundant communications systems, to passive and active security measures, to stored water and food, IPG will plan and implement a system to minimize the vulnerability of the site to all identifiable threats.
Evacuation Planning and Implementation
There is always a point at which even the most perfectly designed and secured site can be overwhelmed by the scope of the disaster. War, earthquake, hurricane or flood may require the immediate evacuation of a specific location. The IPG team will plan for the rapid and orderly evacuation of your personnel and transportable assets, and provide standby assets to effect this evacuation, even under the most difficult circumstances.
Emergency Medical Response
IPG has a large cadre of highly-trained emergency medical personnel, Special Forces Combat Medics, Paramedics, Nurses, Physician Assistants and Doctors. In response to a disaster, either man-made or natural, we can quickly assemble and dispatch a dedicated medical team, armed with medical evacuation assets to insure maximum survivability of your personnel.
Search and Rescue
At times, disaster may overwhelm the unprepared and in the aftermath every effort must be made to salvage whatever is left. First and foremost is the obligation to swiftly account for all personnel and insure that their needs are met. IPG can dispatch teams of the most highly trained Special Operations personnel in the world, with all necessary assets for searching from the ground, water or air, to locate and attend to your personnel under the direst of circumstances.
Site Security
Sometimes the aftermath of a disaster can produce a secondary disaster of similar or even greater magnitude. The breakdown of order often leads to a marked increase in crime, looting, and localized violence. Assets which escaped destruction at the hand of the original incident must be secured and protected as soon as possible. IPG’s cadre of Special Operations veterans can get in earlier and stay on site longer with less direct outside support, to secure your valuable equipment and materials from theft or destruction.
