Counter-Terrorism and Counter-Insurgency Forces

Long-term programs are available to organize and train complete law enforcement counter-terrorism teams or complete military counter-insurgency units. Training programs which would fall under this heading are very comprehensive and involve skills training for all ranks and tactical training for the officers.

Counter-Surveillance Teams

An important lesson was learned after the bombings of the U.S. embassies in Nairobi and Dar es Salaam which prompted the U.S. State Department to drastically increase and upgrade its counter-surveillance capabilities around all of its facilities. It is a known fact that all terrorist acts are preceded by detailed surveillance operations by the terrorists themselves. IPG can train professional counter-surveillance teams for a variety of deployments to assist in mitigating terrorist and criminal threats to boh personnel and facilities.

Rapid Deployment Teams

Highly specialized teams capable of extremely rapid deployment for the purpose of interdicting criminal activity such as smuggling or the theft of natural resources can be trained and equipped by IPG. These teams are normally small, very highly trained, extremely mobile, and capable of projecting great force. This training is specially developed for a specific situation, such as border incursions by criminal gangs from neighboring countries, interdiction of smuggling routes or reaction to reported crimes in progress.

Executive and Dignitary Protection Teams

IPG can train your security team to any level of competence with training programs of one week to several month’s duration. All aspects of close personal protection are available: marksmanship, unarmed combat, evasive driving, tactics of working a principal, advanced team operations, explosive ordnance recognition, first aid, counter-surveillance, and associated subject matter. These subjects can be taught individually, or special programs can be tailored precisely to the needs of the client, providing integrated teams with a variety of specialized skills.

Evasive and Defensive Driving

Driving courses are available either as “stand alone” training or integrated into Executive and Dignitary Protection programs. IPG has an outstanding cadre of driving instructors with extensive experience training security personnel throughout the world. Exclusively at our facility in Arizona we offer advanced training programs which feature “Contact Driving” using a fleet of specially prepared automobiles that allow the students to experience true-to-life attempts at being physically run off the road, and how to defend against these types of attacks.
